I think it's sad I ask if people have listened to Steely Dan and they ask "Who's that?" I mean, I'm only nineteen and I've heard of all of this...what the hell?

you guys got problems. mainstream music has usually always sucked ass. back in the 70's they had amazing fucking bands but most of the stations were for disco n shit. now there is a whole lot less good music on the radio today, but it's still out there. The Strokes, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, The Tellers, Throw Me The Statue, Franz Ferdinand...

I heard Randall Elliot say that plugged his 1963 stratocaster directly into an SVT tube bass amp for the solo with no effects.

The other amazing solo if Jeff Baxter on Rikki, Don't That Number -- he assembled the guitar from parts in the parking lot & walked in & did the solo.

compare this to today`s Hannah montanna shit? no question music has changed for the worse. this has no electronic voice improvement shit. this has real guitar, real feeling. in simplest terms music : good to bad

Remember, in 20+ years...Hannah Montana will be an answer to a trivia question, and nothing else. When was the last time we all gushed over Sean Cassidy? Debbie Gibson? The New Kids on the Block? These media-created Pop Stars have a VERY short shelf life...

you are absoulutely correct , remember Aron Carter? he was a popstar when he was a kid in the 90`s ,now he is a washed up reality t.v (dare I say) star.
