Carolina had scored to cut the lead to 3-1. This is the last 43 seconds or so of Game 4 of the 1st Round series against Carolina. It would also be the last Devils win of the 2001-2002 season. They would lead Game 5 in Carolina 1-0 and 2-1, but Jeff O'Neill would score on a power play with about 1:30 left in the 3rd and Josef Vasicek would win the game for Carolina in the 1st overtime. Game 6 was a bit of a mess for the Devils. A 1-0 shutout loss at home with Ron Francis providing the only offense. But thankfully, things would get better next season!
