He refered to the faith of peter.

Notice too how he said, "on this rock I will build my church". Compare that to the parable of the wise man, who built his house on rock. Matthew 7:24-27

If the Catholic Church isn't correct and all other churches broke away from the Catholics which church is correct?

The Catholic Church is not our church, or the Pope's church. It is Christ's church. He is the builder, not men.

Sure he used the apostles to spread the message and develop the church, but as he said, he built it and it is his church.

He is the master builder and master architect and the owner.
