9/25/07 Jack finds out Carly is dying Pt 2

Upon hearing that Carly is dying, Jack is at first in denial but then urges her to fight. She notices his new wedding ring and tells him his place is with Katie, his wife. Jack leaves only after a tearful plea finally brings Carly's acquiescence to begin the treatment (if only for the kids' sake). Back at the Lakeview, Katie greets Jack in his wedding gift to her, a "Team Snyder" jersey. He breaks the news about Carly, and that the honeymoon is postponed until her situation is stabilized. Jack's mind is clearly on Carly as he and Katie spend their first night as husband and wife on opposite sides of the bed, awake and worrying...as does Carly, alone in the hospital.

I can't say it enough--Mojo and Mikey rocked today.

Michael and Maura are simply amazing! This was around the time I was just getting back into the soap and I remember seeing this and being blown away by these two! I HATED how they completely turned the storylines around..I mean, I'm glad that Carly didn't die, but they didn't have to make her look bad again. Anyway, I am still blown away by this scene. This is why I totally think there is no two actors better than Mikey and Mojo! They're just pure greatness!

really? I have no idea. I didn't start watching ATWT until 2008. Imagine our state of mind if Maura actually left for good! I guess if I had to pick, I would prefer Carly thrown under the bus. for me, Maura can always make me forgive and love Carly at the end of the day. I would have never accepted a Carly recast or Carly getting killed off and same for Jack. To me, that wouldn't be any better than if the writers were never planning on putting Carly and Jack back together while both alive.

Wow, this scene was amazing...Michael is like the best crier! You can just tell how much he still loved her...Will never understand why they turned such this storyline around to make Carly the villain.

I know Carly's not dying, but these scenes still make me cry, each and every time.

That's how good Mike and Maura are.
