Me, Aaliyah delivering "Storyteller" by my friend Manu Mäkinen; a wonderful and talented composer. This video has nothing to do with the Swedish language but I figured I'd share this creation with those of you who are interested. I should mention that I have a new and 2nd channel where you are free to join if you'd like to, where I will be uploading artistic videos like these to keep it organized: http://www.youtube.com/voiceofaheartspeech

Manu has truly inspired me with his music and the passion he has for composing; this guy is seriously amazing. I was so happy to be a part of this beautiful creation when he asked me to be The Voice to deliver this beautifully written poem which spoke to my heart right away; as soon as I read it before my two eyes. I knew I wanted to deliever it, with all the love in my heart. and with all the emotions it sent me. I hope it's felt...

  • Aaliyah, this name is of an Arabic origin. It means The Most Exalted. I think it fits you well.

  • @wallsmash It has such powerful meaning, doesn't it? I always think I can't carry such strong meaning but Aaliyah is my name and your comment made me smile, dear. That's so sweet of you.

  • As a friend of him I can say that Manu truly is a master in the making! And it's great to hear that you enjoyed this little "poem" I wrote for his project, although It's way too short!

With your voice i'm excited about writing more, if you have any subjects for a poem don't hesitate to inform me and i'll try to put something together and Manu can make it into a masterpiece ;)

  • @ArkhamGaming It's so nice to hear from you who wrote the poem! It's such a beautiful piece and I really do feel it in my heart for there is no way I could deliver it otherwise. I want to be able to feel it in my heart to give it real meaning. You're talented, dear. It means very much to me to have delivered your words and I love poetry - writing is my passion. Your comment is so kind and I thank you. Manu's videos really do blow me away: his music should be in movies, seriously!

  • Finally a video! You have amazing voice :) Thanks for the video, tack :D

  • @TheAcrobot Varsågod, min vän. It's finally a video, yes - but there shall be more Swedish lessons, of course as that is what I do on this channel: teach Swedish! :)

  • @GoSwedish just as i thought..... You are not an ethnic swede ? Either you ar an immigrant or you were born in Sweden long after your ancestors moved to Sweden. Of course there's absolutely nothing wrong with your origin, but recently i have realised that there is some racist activity growing up in Sweden (SverigeDemokraterna), and i am afraid to move myself. Swedish people simply have enough of immigrants and want to get rid of them.

  • Oh nice, this one escaped me. Just found it.

  • ....Nice to hear from you!

  • @GoSwedish You are most welcome. You know, I would die to hear you recite more poems, and would really appreciate it if you uploaded more. :)
