'Two nearby stars have been found to harbor super-Earths― rocky planets larger than the Earth but smaller than ice giants such as Uranus and Neptune. Unlike previously discovered stars with super-Earths, both of the stars are similar to the Sun, suggesting to scientists that low-mass planets may be common around nearby stars.'

  • If only we could travel at light speed... It would be incredible to see other life forms. But there are so many factors the need to be right in order for us to live there.

  • @gambinipap obviously the one made first lol

  • This video was uploaded last year sumtime and the discovery was made in 2009 but, Nasa tell us differently that they just discovered Superearth this year in Sep of 2011 so who's telling the truth and whats really going on, who made the discovery?

  • That'd be wicked if we (the world) moved to this "Super Earth" and survived the "End of the World". Damn science and they're theories excite me so much and usually ends up disappointing me.

  • Can we see some actual pictures of these super earth's and not just artist conceptions.

  • If this is true, the first thing we need to do, is find out if there is an indiginous population. If there is, then we need to leave them alone, we cannot repeat the same mistakes we committed on earth.

  • how many moons does the super earth has by the way

  • @TeodoraBG Actually that's incorrect. Europa may well be habitable. And if the Moon is a captured Earth-like planet with a strong magnetic field, it won't be as much of an issue either.

  • @TeodoraBG Fuck =(

  • @ItsCoreyLynxxYall A habitable world can't be a moon of gas giant or big rocky planet due to the big temperature variations. + Orbiting gas giant this moon would bombarded by heavy radiation storms coming from the giant.
