20080821 - Blade CP Pro and Blade 400 Crash Compilation #1

Over the past seven weeks while learning to fly, I've crashed the helicopters many times. Here is a compilation of some of those crashes which were caught on tape.

i think someone was trying to run before they could walk lol

rc helicopters are tricky little buggers to fly and can cost alot of money in repairs,

i bought a sim before flying helis but had over 16 years of rc planes so helis come naturaly to me and i still find it hard at times on my blade 400 even if i can do 3d on the sim its harder in real life athough sims help with the basics,

@puggster Yep, that was the first 7 weeks of owning anything RC... I was flying at least 3 times a day, as many as 10 flights each time, so although there were a lot of crashes, I was getting in a whole lotta flights :) Now, almost 2 years later, I'm doing much better and crashes are very rare :) Check out my latest videos...

Ha nice vid man. I get pretty upset when i crash my bird. I would of gone through a couple of boxes of tissues if that was my bird ;) Ah hate digging into my pockets for parts. But ey its a hobby.

Keep it up mate. Try the phoenix sim. Best investment i ever made (worst investment was getting into the hobby).

Well, that was almost a year ago, I was just getting started. I've advanced quite a bit if you've seen my newer videos, but I still crash on occasion, but thats because I push myself to do new stuff all the time. I do spend about 2 hours a day on RealFlight 4.5, it sure saves a ton of cash :)

Well if you take it easy for the first month or so then u can start bringing up to 10 feet and learn basic maneuvers.

Lets take a different approach... Realflight G5 simulator? Haha ten bucks says that helicopter has cost over 1000 bucks with its purchase and all the crashes. Gotta give you a "A" for effort and determination.
