I had a speed t, and i had numerous issues with it from car issues to esc issues so losi refunded it and i bought a HPI Firestorm Flux 100% better than the losi speed T.
but if you are gonna run off road with the speed t my suggesstions are.
new tyres ( off road one ), losi desert truck diff, new esc and motor, remove wheelie bar, new shocks get taller ones for more ground clearance, Losi Kevlar spur gear,
they will make it alot better off road as the speed t is not made for off road.

You could also put a RPM front bumper that fits on the xxx-t/DT/Speed-t it is a lot stronger and the RPM gear cover which is sealed better and change the idler gear to the harden steel version and aluminum pinion.

Its not the xceleron esc that sucks you idiot. Its the losi cooling fan, mine broke straight away so i replaced it with a decent £15 one and now it goes like hell!!

thanks it is fast like 100 km/h and it's more controllebel thanks to the novak system now it drives good offroad and onroad, just change the tires and go. the novak velociti motors are 7.2V whe run them on 3s lipo 11.1V
this is going well the motor does not overhead. the lipo gets a little worm and the esc gets a bit hot. no problems.
the xceleron is crap run it for 4 times and then we had a smoked esc.
