Nat- Uhhhh I wish eight o' clock would come sooner.

Alex- Bro dont you think it would take some time to walk over there?

Nat- Yeah but its not that far away and I dont wanna go early and freak her out.

Alex- Well why dont you just go wait outside her house until eight?

Nat- Because I dont want her parents to think im gonna rob the place. Its all about first impressions.

Alex- Ok I guess. So you wanna talk?

Nat- I guess. Anything on your mind?

Alex- Not really.

Nat- Yeah I can see why.

Alex- Hey whats that supposed to mean?

Nat- Well I mean its not like you really have anything to worry about.

Alex- I have a lot of things to worry about.

Nat- Oh yeah, like what?

Alex- Well....we ran out of milk today.

Nat- Yeah thats something to lose sleep over.

Alex- Well what do you have to worry about? (Nat looks at him.) Oh.... Hey bro its almost eight.

Nat- Sweet, ill see you later little bro.

Alex- Have fun, bye.

(Nat walks over to Sams house. It takes about nine minutes and he knocks on the door right at eight. A tall skinny guy answers.)

Nat- Hi, im Nat Wolff, im here to pick up Sam.

Guy- Oh so youre Nat. Nice to meet you im Mark. (Reaches out to shake Nats hand. Yells behind him.) Samantha! Your boy friend is here!

Sam- Ill be right there.

Mark- You can come sit on the couch. (Nat sits down and Mark sits right next to him.) So how old are you?

Nat- Im thirteen.

Mark- So youre the same age as Samantha then?

Nat- Yeah

Mark- What do you like to do for fun?

Nat- Well, im in a band.

Mark- Oh really? Is it that rock metal crap?

Nat- No actually its for kids.

Mark- Really now?

Nat- Yeah I play piano.

Mark- Thats nice. (Smiles and Sam comes down the stairs wearing a purple floral dress that stops at her knees. Nat stands up in awe and walks over to her.)

Nat- *Ive never seen her look so beautiful* you look really nice.

Sam- Thank you (Smiles) so do you.

Nat- Thanks

Mark- Ok well you two kids have fun. Nat I want her home at a decent hour.

Nat- Is ten ok or is that too late?

Mark- Well actually I was thinking more around....

Sam- Eleven right daddy?

Mark- *She pulled the daddy card, damnit!* Of course

Sam- (Hugs her dad) we'll see you then. Bye daddy!

Mark- Have fun, Nat you take care of her.

Nat- Of course sir

(They leave and start walking down the street.)

Sam- So where are we headed?

Nat- Well I know I said we would go to the movies but, well we cant really talk while were in the movies so I figured we could go out to eat.

Sam- Oh, but Nat I only brought enough money for the movies.

Nat- What made you think you would need to bring money?

Sam- What do you mean?

Nat- I would have paid for the movies just like im paying for dinner.

Sam- (Blushes) oh

Nat- (Smiles) I hope you dont mind. (They are close to the park) I made reservations. (Laughs)

Sam- Wow Nat! How sweet.

Nat- Well restaurants are really noisy.

Sam- You think of everything dont you?

Nat- Well I try.

Sam- You succeed. (Smiles)

Nat- Im glad, lets sit. Um would you like to eat now or talk a little and then eat?

Sam- Well theres no harm in eating and talking is there?

Nat- Nope, in fact thats one of my favorite things to do. Besides being with you......

Sam- (Smiles) Nat youre too nice.

Nat- Thanks (Smiles)

(They start to eat; Nat brought every type of food, and they are talking about everything possible. Just then Sam gets a call on her phone.)

Sam- I dont wanna answer it.

Nat- You probably should though, it could be important.

Sam- (Answers her phone) hello?

Person- If you dont leave him alone you'll regret it.

Sam- Who is this?

Person- None of your business

Sam- What do you mean leave him alone? Leave who alone?

Person- The one youre sitting next to.

Sam- Rosalina?

Rosalina- No!

Sam- ok well thanks for the conversation but, im busy right now so ill have to talk to you later. Bye. (Hangs up)

Nat- Was that really Rosalina?

Sam- Yeah

Nat- What did she say.

Sam- She said to leave you alone or I'll regret it.

Nat- (Hugs Sam) Im sorry

Sam- Nat? What happened between you two?
