Bob Dustrude's Quick Buck Saw

A light weight folding bow saw for wilderness use weighing in at less than 500g. Made from aluminium the saw uses a standard 24in bow saw blade that is easily found very cheaply.

The blade is tensioned via a cam hand and the whole saw can be assembled and made ready to use in 30 seconds. There is no wing nuts or screws to tighten or lose during assembly

The blade is stored inside the body of the saw for transport, which makes it very easy carry the saw in a pack or in a canoe with no danger of cutting expensive equipment.

All in all a very simple piece of equipment, that is highly recommended

What a coincidence! Just recevied my Dustrude saw from Fourdogstove Co in the mail today, get an email from Youtube that Surefirewoodsman has a Buck/Bow Saw Challenge using, you guessed it, then I see you video in the sidebar!? Great review, appreciated the role of the beeswax, will be sure and keep it waxed. What a fine saw. Now to get the Duluth scabbard. Your costing me money now lol!
