  • nice!

where did you get those lap steel legs? how do they attach?

  • the legs were with the guitar, you attach them with holes in the body.

    thanks for the comment

  • Woooo !!

  • if you are selling the fender steel guitar how much you want for it?

  • Sorry for the delay, I changed my mind so this is not not anymore to sale, sorry. Salute.

  • That was awesome! You started out sucking it pretty bad -- totally setting me up to click away to something else -- then suddenly you took it home. Great playing.

  • You've got the music in you.

  • @stevenwhiteley its called a 'console' or 'table' steel... they come with legs as Juan says. :)

  • GREAT!!!! I'm learing @ Lap Steel...love this vid! thanks-D.

  • @stevenwhiteley

i'd rather kick it with you than megan fox. damn it be cool to jam with other skilled blues players.

  • The Fender Lap Steel Deluxe came with adjustable legs that screwed on the bottom. The Champion which is the student model had no legs, but looked the same. I just bought one from 1957 with the original case for $700.

  • This was really something. Glad you decided to keep the guitar - you really know how to jam on that thing.

Whoever would have bought it probably would have used it for a display piece. I'm pretty sure Leo would prefer that it be played - that's why he built it after all.
