This shows the 6th Up-and-Away flight of the JA5 "Walrus" aircraft, design and built by John Avery. The flight takes place in Mojave, California June 28, 2010. Changes made to the aircraft were left rudder trim. The objective of the flight was to determine rudder stability and trim positions with servos deactivated, ball position with no rudder input, and engine cooling capability. Speed envelope expansion was postponed due to cooling issues.
