  • Guys, very very few of these notes are actual belts. They're almost all mixes. The highest actual belt in this entire video is Jaclyn Victor's E5. Everything above that is a mix. You can tell by the closed off tone. The resonance is darker yet more nasally. It's kinda hard to explain, but there is very little real belting in this entire video.

  • @GlennDeVar Well, a belted note can be mixed... According to vocal pedagogy, anything above F#4 is mixed, how much it is mixed is another thing.

  • What's the performance at 9:46?

  • @lathanregintree You are a complete idiot and a hater of a wonderful talent that she is. That isn't obviously her best Eb5, she had clearer and better Eb5's than that. Why are you hating on her so much?

  • @ThisIsOrrick Its since you've been gone.

  • Anastacia ^^

  • @WestVoice true which is why most men can not hit the high C (c5) b/c their much deeper voice can not extend unless they have a high voice in the tenor range which even then is not a promise they willbe able to.

  • @WestVoice since mariah can belt a5 that does bring her close to d6 and more then likely. if u can belt an A5 u can belt a bb5 and i say that b/c i am vocaly trained so i know vocals/music. u never really know what note u can hit until u try :)

  • @MrSoulshock4444 sorry hun ur wrong pattis d6 did the slaying #FACTOFLIFE

  • 1. u left out mariahs A5 2. PATTI JUST SLAYED ALL OF THEM WITH THAT D6!!!!! BOW TO THE QUEEN OF BELTING! <3

  • why the hell did u have to play alice keys twice!! her voice is raspy off key shit!LOL

  • @rockindylan4 ur friend is wrong and obviously knows nothing about singing -__-

  • somebody please what song @ 6:28 the one that kelly sang. i've been searching it but i found nothing. what's the title?
