I love when movie critics like yourself come on the Internet to blast others, as though your life actually had meaning. Have you ever seen Yul Bryner in "The King and I"? His performance is the only one that anyone actually remembers. However, in your case the only thing anyone will remember is just how stupid a You Tube troll can be. Amazing.

He didn't star in Ten Commandments, Heston was the star. The Magnificent Seven would have been a more apt choice. And he wasn't really that talented. On screen, he was kind of a mincing poser who seemed more concerned with projecting an image than giving complex performances, sort of like Heston. Not that he was a bad actor, but he certainly wasn't really any kind of a great talent.

@slowdream101 What?

Definitely a great actor!!! Too bad they didn't have enough scripts to keep him busy - and had to take whatever parts available no matter what the picture type was.

QUÉ HOMBRE TAN ESPLENDIDO, GUAPÍSIMO, VARONIL, ELEGANTE, GALLARDO, SOFISTICADO Y CON ESA VOZ TAN MASCULINA Y PROFUNDA QUE ME HACE TEMBLAR, SU MANERA DE MIRAR, HABLAR, GESTICULAR, SILBAR, CAMINAR, DE DIRIGIRSE A LAS PERSONAS, DE ESTRECHAR LAS MANOS DE LOS CABALLEROS Y DE TOMAR LAS MANOS DE LAS DAMAS Y DARLES UN BESO, HASTA LA MANERA DE ESCRIBIR SU NOMBRE EN EL TABLERO... QUÉ GALANAZO! ES TAN COOL EN LA PANTALLA COMO FUERA DE ELLA...
Yul is the man! Strikingly handsome, and immensly talented!
And what a voice he had!

Wow -- platinum-weight talent, sex appeal, and sophistication all in one person. In this period (1956) he starred -- starred mind you -- in 3, not one, not two, but THREE huge hit films: Anastasia, The King and I (where he sang, danced, and ruled Siam), and The Ten Commandments, (where he ruled Egypt). You can hardly take your eyes off him in "The Ten Commandments," as here. Thanx to NorberR33 for posting this clip and reminding us what star power used to mean.
