@GoogleMobileBlog i just recently bought an andriod phone and everything seems to be going great. my main concern is the contacts in gmail. I often write emails to my hockey team concerning games and don't want to type in all of the names one by one. is there a way to see all my contacts at once? because u can't seem to see edit or even look at one contact let alone all of them. please help me

Since my android phone and gmail are synced I noticed any changes to one, changes the other. If someone got my phone they could erase all my contacts in gmail or if my gmail was hacked they could erase my phone's contacts through it. I wanted to back the contacts up. I went to my gmail and found I could export contacts. Now I do that every so often so if anything happens I can easily restore contacts from a saved csv file. :) FYI

@italiangspot i agree with you. the picture after sync with google becomes low quality. and it has been going on for 1 year? come on google, it has been one year.

When you add birth day on your phone it won't sync it and it will be deleted from your phone. And if you add photo to contact quality will be dramatically decrease after syncing it with gmail. It is crap.

Just switched from Palm OS to Android on Sprint Hero. I find no way to look up my contacts by business name. This seems to me to be such a fundamental feature. What a disappointment

when will google support higher res pictures for callerid for contacts? .. .when i sync with google .. it converts my callerid pics to a low res PIC which looks very poor on my hero screen
