I agree. This doesn't even compare to Coach class on some Asian airlines (and I'm not joking in any way). The premium cabins on some Asian airlines are astounding.

Have you seen the First and Business Classes in Singapore Airlines' new A380? That can't be beaten.

I am surprising my wife for her birthday and purchased "business elite seats ( I think it's called "first class" when the flight is domestic) for our trip to Jamaica from JFK. with our 12 year old son.

What kind of meals are served in business class with a 4 hour flight? I never traveled "up front" before so I was wondering.

@funshipM174 You should expect a full hot meal on a four hour flight. They should have a choice of two hot entrees, and they're usually both pretty good.

These seats are actually really good, I have flown on them about six times. By the way this is a short haul flight, not a long haul.

@brewdog11 you can not seriously compare them this is a domestic first class for short haul flights, deltas long haul business elite is much better but you dont need those seats for short journeys. any way food entertainment and service and lounges are more important than the seat especially for short haul.

What should be remembered is that "First Class" domestically, in the USA, is in actuality a business class - not a true first.

From someone who has flown Delta's 1st Class on several occasions on the Boeing 757, it is quite comfortable.

For those of you saying these seats suck well, it's a 757. Not a lot of room for first class seat like on an a380. And I accually had flown first class on a delta 757 and it is very good

@tomellis6680 I saw your reply and should have listened to you. I just flew "first" class on Delta. Old hard seats that reclined 2 inches, cheap thin blanket, non-working earphones that probably cost fifty cents, no legroom. Finally, cereal or an omelette for breakfast. Then they have the nerve to ask how they did. I let them know and haven't heard back.
