It would be stupidity to choose an r8 over a GTR.

gtr has better performance, more practical easy to drive for about 30 grand less it is the best performance to price ratio than any car ever made

Ive driven the beast, and while it is EXTREMELY fast, I didn't want to buy it. Sure, the new ones are 95k for the performance of a 450K ferrari, but the maintenance alone is a scary amount of money. Check into the price for the brake service...
