I cannot believe that the mother does not shed one tear in recalling the last moments that she saw her daughter alive. I would be beside myself with grief, but then again I would not knowingly have friends as sex offenders around my child and in remembering my child I would not have said she lies about being hungry. Poor Nevaeh, the public seems to care more than her own mother, rest in peace little angel.

When a child is 5 years old they will often not worry about being hungry that is why they need an adult to set a schedule for them, they would rather play then eat. Obviously this statement made by Jennifer, the so called "Mother" about the child lying, shows how incompetent she is with even the basic of parenting skills. And I would agree with you on her shifting the focus off of her towards the little girl with this statement. Truly a conniving mind she thinks she has to try to pull that off.

nacy grace to me is just awfu sometimes. yes this mother was not a good mother she should of had her daughetr fed by 6.30 when my son was 5 he was not allowed to even play in my garden without me being there. he is 10 now and i still will not let him go out willy nilly running all over the place. our children are our responsibility. she was far to laid back having a rapist bas a freind dnt look good does it but then the mccanns llok at them good parents? nope they left thiers and went out?

We still hear stories and people talk about it every day (I'm from Monroe myself).. I just hope they catch the guy who did it so that not only he can be brought to justice.. But because.. Well.. My family keeps talking about it and I can't get a word in.

to Dazed, you're right, it doesn't make a mother bad for saying that their child lies. But considering that her daughter is missing, and may be gone forever, I don't see any relevance to saying that Neveah lies. She was stuck with a question she's embarrassed to answer, so she went on and changed the subject to Neveah lying when she's hungry? Her daughter is gone, but yet she still had the audacity to use her daughter as a scapegoat when she was asked a simple question that she can't respond to.

She's a lying sack of crap. She was talking about herself and her man rather than her daughter. Who would let their young child be out by themselves? Morning or afternoon, that's not suppose to happen. It's obvious she didn't get up to get Neveah after she was told she was outside because she changed her answer when Nancy asked. She deserved to be grilled by Nancy. She needs to be locked up with those sex offenders.
