Mi'kmaq Confederacy of PEI

The Mi'kmaq Confederacy of Prince Edward Island (MCPEI) is a not-for-profit tribal council and provincial territorial organization representing the Lennox Island and Abegweit First Nations.

MCPEI works with both First Nations in defining what their priorities and areas of interest are and then establishes programs and services in support of those areas. Both First Nations have identified economic development as a key priority, which they hope will allow them to progress over time.
