Stonewall Riots 40th Anniversary Performance by Thierry and Andrea

Andrea Wright and Thierry Alexandre collaboration performance. Partly Butoh inspired, partly drawn from the performer's sense of struggle and alienation, this was devised to celebrate the stonewall riots and the uprising of the gays against world oppression in 1969, to acknowledge all those who have been fighting for gay rights and equality ever since and those who still have to live in silence. Performed at central station hotel bar restaurant In king's Cross London as part of a beautiful day of awareness raising, beauty and sharing.
