I have seen cover after cover of this song and decided despite the fact the distortion didn't sound right i figured Youtube could use another cover of this song so check it out tell me your honest opinion and if anyone wants to know how to play it let me know i will probably do up a tutorial for this song i will record the intro verse and chorus so everyone and their momma can learn this song because in my opinion too many people trying to play the intro in standard and well it is so much easier the way i'm gonna show you how to do it...DON'T KICK YOURSELF TOO HARD WHEN YOU SEE IT
Intro Riff Keep In Mind The Intro Is Played With Your Index Finger On The 10th Fret (3rd And 4th String) And Your Ring Finger On The 12th Fret (4th String) With That In Mind Here Is The Order To Play It

Tabs For The Verses And Chorus Are For Drop D Tuned Guitars
10-1--6-8
Tabs For The Chorus Are The Same As The Verse And The Bridge Riff Is
10-6-1-8
The Bridge Riff is Played 8 Measures Or For The Musically Challenged (4 Times)

how do u get the guitar to sound like that? i have an eletric guitar but it sounds like a normal one and when i plug it in to the amp it still sounds like a normal guitar but louder 0.o what am i doing wrong?
