  • The sheikh said it well. We muslims had damage the image of islam by our action which does not conform to the teaching of this beautiful religion. To the extend it became a religion of partisanships and holier than thou mentality rather than a religion for all mankind to serve.

  • @darkbreeze9009 MashaALlah...what a lucky person you are !!! so envy youu...and Wallahi so happy for you too... :)

  • MashAllah may we all benefit from Habib

    Shukran Ya Allah

  • habib umar sits with perennialists

  • @easyonetwothree I suppose your obsessed with what women wear? God forbid we should end up like the Jews with their 620 something daily rules.

. Since I am not a 'good' Muslim (as those whom claim to be good turn my stomach with their stupidity) so my manners are between me and my Lord. That said; Shut up about beards and if a mans thobe is not 2" above the ankle. Not that there's any Zoroasrians around to be confused with. What about THE HEART..... you plum.......

  • great man

  • He's coming to Canada for his first time in about 3 weeks and he's going to visit my aunt's home and I'm invited!!!! :D Walahi I am so happy <3

  • may allah swt bless and persarve sayyadi shaykh habib omar !!!!!

  • @AllahsCreation My Sheikh once told me, 'some men grow beards, and the pride they have in them, causes them to be pulled to hell by them'.

Fulan fulan should know that it is better to have no beard, but be without pride or judgement, than have a beard the size of Yemen but cause it to be a source of pride and judgement.

Of course when I say pride I do not mean in the sense of permissibility in relation to liking to look good.

  • @SuleimanalMuslim I second your point. The ijma of the scholars of the Shaffiyya is that it is permissible to trim the beard, though the intention to grow a beard is still wajib. While this was not the position of Imam Shafi'i (rahimAllah), it was the position of all the other great mashaykh of that madhab.

The apparent miss-steps of others should not concern people, their own sins are enough for them.
