I purchased what seems to be a legitimate iPhone on the internet, but found out it was to good to be true. I was scammed and sold a "iClone".

Here are my tips to avoid falling into the same trick I did.

The official name of this clone is the "Ciphone". It is a dual-band phone and will not work here in Canada.

  • You obviously have no clue dude. If you did your research (even if just on Youtube!), you'd know that there are several 'clones' out there that are totally not real iPhones. Also, that phone does work in Canada on GSM networks, as a matter of fact, it works in most countries since GSM is a world standard. You don't even seem to know the difference between GSM and CMDA. Back when this video was made that phone was $150 bucks, now it's selling under 50.... live and learn dude.

  • @johanlaurasia

GSM frequencies that work in Canada are: 850 and 1900. This phone is a duel frequency phone (not a Quad) that only works with the GSM frequencies 900 and 1800. Because of that this phone will not connect to any networks out here in Canada.

To your other point, yes, I was aware that iphone clones existed at that time. But knowledge of the existence of iphone replicas don't stop someone from selling you an "official apple iphone", and giving you a fake.

    thanks for the comment

  • i am getting a fake ipod nano 8gb off of ebay for 18 bucks.

  • one word ...four letters FAIL lol return it?

  • All the standard functions like Bluetooth 2.1, A2DP, BIP, Remote control, File transfer, Webcam are available. There are many phones with GPS available for such price. Better than iPhone: iOrgan Raptor F22 (Android 2 Quad-Band GSM+Tri-Band 3G phone, GPS (SiRF), Strong CPU (Better than iPhone 3gs), A lot of RAM/ROM, Capactive Multi-Touch screen)Latest Pinphone with latest firmware - Nice phone. There are a lot of very nice Windows Mobile 6.5 phones quad-band quality and low prices.

  • Another one that I own is the W301 Zoho - Have everythng but it is also WCDMA 2100Mhz phone and have built-in youtube videos viewer, Built-In Skype, Built-In WLM, Built-In Yahoo! etc, Handwriting etc Great phone for about 100USD. Another is the i9 2010 Wifi - Almost same as F003 but with better video player and g-sensors and costs about 50USD.

  • (Continued), J2ME support (Installed Bolt and Snaptu and TTPOD and many other applications without problems), I have put a 16GB MicroSD-HC and it is working fine, G-Sensors are working fine (Switch songs, Menus and video directions), Dual camera 2MP, Analog TV (There are newer with DVB-T now), FM Radio, WIFI and it is working smoother and faster than the phone in the video
