  • you are comparing 9/11 (a tragedy that is associated with thousands of brutal inhumane deaths) to GAY MARRIAGE (something that revolves around love and equality)?!!!! WOW, THAT IS REALLY A NEW LOW!!

  • Gay marriage==9/11

The depth of their hatred for people who won't fit into the box of their worldview truly knows no bounds. Also, open question to prop 8 supporters: I still have yet to hear what the mechanism for this "profound effect on society" is.

    You assert:

    1. Adam and Steve

    2.????

    3. Mad Max: Escape from Thunderdome

I demand to know what step 2 is. HOW does this effect you or anyone else? Some analog about worldwide awareness doesn't cut it, GIVE ME THE METHOD OF THE GAY APOCALYPSE

  • HiveRadical,

Why do we extend marriage rights to infertile couples? Your argument falls flat on it's face.

Also, the argument that a heterosexual couple takes better care of children than a homosexual couple, is completely unfounded by any evidence.

Dobson for example, uses studies on single-parent homes, and just assumes he can substitute those for homosexual couple parent homes. It's completely unscientific and invalid.

  • Yeah, wow, this is extreme. These people are extremists.

  • wow you suck. and is that why we have a 55% divorce rate as of right now in the US? explain that one why dontcha!

basically you're against equality and ya. you're wrong!

  • This video showed no concrete evidence what so ever. he jumped terms and completely talked around the question.

the next time you try to deprive someone of theyre constitutional rights, at least give them the courtesy of knowing what your talking about!

  • so, can you please answer the following questions:

    * how does the discrimination against against same sex couples help traditional marriages solve their problems?

    * what does the "homosexual lifestyle" as you call it exactly have to do with crime and a rising crime rates? I don't get what you see as "trickling down" here...

I can't help to see a bunch of mightily misinformed, ignorant and prejudiced people here...

  • so should we also set up other limits on marriage based on income, where the couple live, what jobs they do ect?

  • "it's about creating the ideal environ in which children can receive nurture and can receive the best that society, and parents, can give them"

    well said!

  • We need to focus on the fact that marriage is not primarily about two consenting adults, it's about creating the ideal environ in which children can receive nurture and can receive the best that society, and parents, can give them. Any child lacking a father or a mother is being deprived just as they'd be deprived if they were lacking an eye or arm. This doesn't denigrate single parent families, we promote ideals, simply not being able to eliminate wrongs doesn't mean we don't try & stop them.
