Poverty in Africa: You Can Make the Difference

This February, I have been blessed with the opportunity to change the lives of children and their families in the impoverished country of Tanzania, Africa. Our team will be facing some challenging objectives while in Africa, including starting to build a children's center for those abandoned, the distribution of thousands of meals, and constructing sustainable water sources and implementing sanitation methods such as wells and state of the art filtration devices. We will also be working in orphanages in the Signida region, a district plagued with starvation (thousands of children each day), a seven-year drought, and an annual per capita income of $400.

Many people cannot imagine living in a world where the life expectancy is 52 years old, with a child mortality rate of 131/1000. Honestly, neither can I , and it is for this reason that I would like to invite you to take part in this experience.
