One thing is that these dna test aren't always accurate and ancestry testing still have a way to go. A lot of escaped slaves got adopted by some tribes, while other tribes weren't black friendly. It depended on the region of the country like Lumbee Indians in the Carolina and some Seminole tribes in Fla.La is another example of some mix ancestry.

I remember watching this... and I laughed when they were all told they were not of native american or even 1 or 3 or none percent lol I am of African Decent and I have always heard african americans say im cherokee,choctaw etc. and most likely they aren't . I have also noticed that alot of african americans tend to think that because their hair is long, or curly they are native american and I do believe that is because they don't know or were always told something and just believed it.
