It's hard to believe that, after listening to his speaking voice, he is able to hit those high notes so effortlessly--just fanastic!! I grew up listening to Gene Pitney and he will always be a part of my life (as far as my taste in true rock 'n roll goes), just as he is and will be to millions of loyal fans of all ages all over this world. There is now a void in our hearts that can only be reconciled with the memories of THE ONE AND ONLY---MR. GENE PITNEY!!! Rest in God's peace..
