Liz reviews Looking For Alaska by John Green.

Seriously, one of my favorite books next to the Harry Potter series. He writes with intelligence rather than shock value and other things YA authors attempt to go for. He is honestly a breath of fresh air!

  • I love Alaska (the book and the character) but why does everyone dog on Katherines. Its an amazing book. Espcally for thoses nerds who think Math is Beatuiful like me. And good job not giving away the before and after.

  • @jmaster1324 I liked AoK better the second time around. The math was distracting the first time.

  • I've read it five times. Half way through the sixth ^^ You should read/review The Fault in Our Stars. It's soooo good. I think I like LFA a little better, but it's soooooo amazing.

  • @katherine9997 I have read/reviewed TFiOS! And loved it!

  • one of the greatest books ever written

  • @JoshuaAhalt Agreed

  • Good review, but 2 people show up to the going away party; Marie Lawson, a tiny blond with rectangular glasses, and her chunky boyfriend, Will.

  • you kinda look like rebecca black

  • @elizziebooks Loving TFIOS is an understatement. Hell, loving John Green and Hank Green and nerdfighteria is an understatement lol

  • @UnderDog280 It's okay for her to like the book and still consider Miles a loser. If you think about it, Pudge is somewhat more of an observer rather someone who actually does much action in the novel. I wouldn't call Miles a loser, though. I would prefer "outcast."

  • Three points: 1. Good video, I liked it; very well delivered.

    2. John Green said the character he resembles most in the book is Alaska. In High School, John Green was actually popular. He once said of this "I'm so ashamed of my non-nerd past!" Perhaps Pudge is based more so on his brother Hank, who sadly admitted to being badly bullied.

    3. The word "looser" (0.38) is very harsh. Need all those who have "lost", esp socially, be "losers"? How about it being 'tragedy' & show more compassion?

  • Its a funny book....blowjob

  • its alabama

  • i read this book last summer... my sister told me to read it cus i never read anything tbh. =P but when i read this book... it really stunned me. its an amazing book. and i treasure it.
