Gladys - Old lady's message to Oprah Winfrey

Gladys is an amazing,loving, strong woman who is 99 years old! In her nineties she has been known to take care of her fellow senior citizens most of them younger than herself. She has the most amazing stories to tell about her family's history. Her voice is one that deserves to be heard and preserved. Oprah, her two remaining wishes are to meet you and go to Africa. You really need to meet this precious woman!!!

no this isn't that Gladys. When I originally made this video I didn't even know there was another Gladys until someone else mentioned it. I just posted it as a response to that Gladys video to get more views. Unfortunately , my Gladys has since passed away and she never got her meeting with Oprah =(

Ellen's "Gladys" is really a male comic who lives in the Austin area. That's why you'll never see "her" on a sweet little video like this one. I second some of the earlier posters: I would much rather talk to this dear woman than to Oprah any day. What a sweetheart! But for her sake, I do hope she gets her wish. It seems to mean a lot to her.
