you drank whiskey and did only survive because of a gas burner? ... man you're lucky to be still alive. next time use a hat or something and don't get sweaty again. man you will probaly kill yourself next time. if you don't know what you are going to face than don't do "experiments"

Dude you think that's cold temps? Try Quebec's winter -30 degrees minimum in January February. Where you are we go in a long sleeve t-shirt and be warm.

Great vid, we just endured the same temp. at Mt. Rogers, VA. It's a learning experience every time out. We are heading back soon to head up the App. Trail a few miles. Great fun!!!

it needed a inline flap in the pipe. a lot of the heat was gettin shot up in the air

I would be curious to know why the hobo stove did not get more use? What made you switch to an open fire? Was the stove not providing enough heat?
