Do your small plants get a whole lot of sunlight because the pot is blocking the sunlight from getting to the plant? Also, I have a plant that I used your method on and it's already producing a tomato the size of a golfball! Next year I'll use your m method on all of my plants. But I am a little scared to cut off the top of my tomato plants, but the starlings seemed to have already snipped them. They are growing a loyt of suckers on the bottom. :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Ray ... This video gave me a big idea when I bought a new Orange Jubilee tomato plant this past week. I plant real deep, so I had to pick off a bunch of lower branches that also had suckers - some that were good sized. I stuck 3 of the best suckers in a peat pot, planting them down low like you've done here and in your previous video. They've been in the pot 4 days now and are thriving! Gotta give you the credit since I learned the method from you - Thanks! Look forward to your next video!

I have several questions regarding your method. Does it still work if you plant it in a pot instead of in the garden? So do i still keep 3 of the seedlings? How big of a pot should it be? I'm blessed that I live in Hawaii, that we have growing weather all year round. Your videos have inspired me to start growing tomatoes again. Do enlighten me with your experience and knowledge! Thanks! :)

@aziemkamal Yes it works as long as you plant in a very large pot. The bigger the pot, the better the plant will be. Be sure to use the richest soil or compost available to you. Tomato plants really plow through nutrients in soil.

When these things finally go into the garden do the 3 go together or do you try to separate them and plant them apart? I figure you'll make a video later but I'm impatient...

Kath, I'll plant them together to demonstrate that 3 tomato plants can grow out the same area as one and form one wide sturdy plant. Separating them is possible, but if someone wants to separate plants, it's best to start out with them separate in the beginning. When it's time to transplant, you don't want to be separating any more than you have to. It sort of puts the plant under stress and robs you of a little bit of growing time. Up where I live, we need ALL the growing time we can get. :)
