  • Question for ya: Im in the proccess of building a 1914, what kind of top end speed do you get? HP? etc, thx,

  • I had it up to 95 mph. It will go faster, but I didn't find out how fast. 138 hp. It's not running at the moment. Broken head stud.

  • does it hav straight cut gears?

  • Yes, straight cuts. I almost wish I hadn't. The whining noise they make can get quite annoying. On the other hand, it makes me wish I had a turbo.

  • camshaft ?

  • Nice consul

  • really? my 1914 with 1500 running stock ratios got 90mph.... in third!

  • I thought the case savers was to solve the backing head studs. What made it fail?

  • Leave the Type I engine, advance to Type IV!

BTW beautiful sound to my ears.

  • Thanks, Im putting the engine into a very light street legal sandrail...
