in addition to my previous post: I checked google maps and the old satellite pictures still show the road with the crossing taxiway. It is located in the center south part of the plant. Good luck finding it ;o))

@720069mf The ground fatality that you mention, was from the similar overrun incident of Southwest flight 1248 at Chicago Midway Intl. in 2005. There were no fatalities in the Burbank accident.

The airplane crossing is real. There are a few airports in the world like that. Zadar Airport in the Republic of Croatia had a runway that crossed a public road until last year.
