  • @frankiepop Rzewski didn't right the lyrics, its a hymn from the ancient greek - the homeric hymns, rzewski just wrote the music

  • wow this piece is amazing it took me a while to understand it. but its truly a work of art

  • i am not going to pile on here. I will rzewski has written a few of the best compositions of the last century, but many of his lyrical writings like this fail to be to interesting. I have listened to the ambient Tibetian bowl music before, but i needed a little more interesting dialogue to deal with the simplicity of the musical accompanient. However, I thought we heard almost a marimba sound towards the end.

  • This is an excellent performance. Even if people hate the piece, the educated can tell you did your part.
