I hate kids today, they alll hate this music. I love it
-
@techmetta Most kids today don't know shit...
They don't hold a candle next to those of past generations. They've been fooled far too easily for years now by the whole media circus who know exactly who to aim and sell that crap to. They should be insulted by the fodder that's touted as talent, instead they follow the leader and embrace it like morons because they can't think for themselves...

i fucking think that one day the whole entire music industry should go up to big mainstream artists and be like "haha we got you, we've been making you sound better the whole entire time! your just a bunch of untalented artists that should fuck yourselves because your a bunch of egotistical cunts! haha - Love The Music Industry"

Yeah big government bigwigs these guys are obviously a threat to society, you know being kind to kids and giving them a good time when times for them and their parents where really really bad..... Say what you like about the pistols, but they have hearts of solid gold sometimes

simply rules.
Great job on this video. In 1979, when I was 15 and got my Bollocks cassette, the Sex Pistols were spoken of in the same kind of language reserved for Al Qaeda today. Sid Vicious and Johnny Rotten were made out to be some kind of bogeymen. Your video should dispel any such remaining notions.

@rene8564 Good comment, I totally agree with what you say about Johnny & Sid and how they were portrayed in the public eye. And even though back then was more of a somewhat simplistic time period, it does go to show how people can be terrified of something they don't understand, and that of somebody who doesn't fit in with 'the norm' of those who are more akin with the so-called 'moral majority'.
Glad you like the video ;-)

Did they sing sweary bits of songs at the kids? This has intrigued me since I read of it in 85.

@Kelly14UK I couldn't say for sure myself mate if they did or not. And although I lived through this period of time, i'm pretty sure if they held off from doing so and didn't, the kids probably did... XD
I don't have a copy myself otherwise I would have possibly used it for this video rather than the studio version, but i'm pretty sure there's a bootleg recording of the night so to hear that would be one way to know for sure...

To the top/uploader comment , i totally agree but im 12 and i listen to all this kinda music , only a minority know about it cause there parents are cool.

@NoobWarlocc Yes that would play a big part too, having cool parents would definitely rub off onto their kids. You're one of the lucky ones I suppose, just imagine, if it weren't for that you could have ended up listening to a whole heap of crap just because everyone else does.
I also think a large percent of 'the majority' fall into the trap of listening to musical fodder because of peer pressure. I wish a lot of people like yourself could stand up for themselves and 'just say NO!' ;-)
