Scarbrough cedar ave house fire
By the time firefighters knocked down the second of two fires at the same Scarborough house Sunday afternoon, the brick bungalow was left with hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage and a badly burnt roof.
The first fire at the house on Cedar Dr., a residential side street near Eglinton Ave. E. and Markham Rd., began around 10 a.m. on the stove, said District Chief Stephan Powell of Toronto Fire.
A single truck went to the scene and the fire was quickly extinguished.
The second fire broke out nearly six hours later. By the time fire crews arrived, there was smoke pouring out of the back of the house.
A young man was asleep downstairs, but woke up as police pounded on the door. He escaped unhurt, along with a dog and a cat.
The fire was upgraded to two alarms, sending more than 10 trucks to the scene.
Firefighters quickly brought the flames under control, but the fire continued to burn through the roof of the house.

Is that a yellow tag sitting on a 38?. Please tell me that he is not protecting exposures with that pee shooter. What a scarborough cluster..... whats that arial doing just sitting there, non ladders up, pump is parked directly in front of the residence, no 65 protecting windward exposures. Don't mean to be a dick but wake up boys, put on your games faces and knock that bitch down.
