Despite being almost 20 years old, Doom still pisses over most of the crap being released today. This is what you call 'landmark FPS'.

Ofcourse! I'm not for one second saying Half-Life isn't up there with Doom. In fact, I can think of very few games which can match the Half-Life series, both 1 and 2 are timeless classics and arguably the best FPS ever released.
I just laugh at all the kids who say that FPS don't belong on PC when the genre started and still natively belongs on the PC. As good as console FPS's are, you can't beat a good PC FPS.
