yes dalmatians really smile...it's a characteristic of the breed...an it's naturally. so, enjoy your dog as much as possible. they are really cute and funny

Your Dalmatian looks a lot like my female Dalmatian did. She also smiled all the time(: Dalmatians make great pets, I've had two and hope to get another one someday. Adorable video by the way ^-^

Ours was a smiler as well which considering how hard her life was before we got her was quite something.We got her from a rescue centre and her previous owners were pretty much monsters in the way they treated her. I won't tell you some of the horrible things they did but they must have been border line psychopathic to treat such a friendly dog so badly. My parents kind of spoiled her but she was still a great natured dog.

@AUTIGER4LIFE26 - I know exactly what you mean. I had the same issue 5 years ago when i bought my dog. I couldnt find one around here so i turned to the internet. I actually got a great pure bred dalmatian on the internet from Michigan and had it shipped to washington state. I think the plane ticket was only $50. I also had to buy a dog carrier and that was $50. But i got a good deal on the dog. So, thats always a possibility to you.

@vaticanantichrist what i meant was that i want one so bad but i can't find anyone that breeds them cause they're not that popular,i've never seen one in a shelter either.
