@bwlfp thanks for the quick reply. UT12 is an incredible drive too, especially thru the Escalante and the views of the Henrys&Waterpocket Fold from the Hogback (?). My wife&I also loved UT24/95 Capitol Reef-Blanding&261/163 to Monument Valley, where we were lucky to see a sandstorm right at sunset followed by a spectacular Tstorm at dusk with lightning lighting up the whole valley as it hit all around the mesas! Could drive that loop everyday, if I didn't live in Japan :-O

Ditto to that.
Awesome stuff!
Great video, and great choice of music to accompany! I especially like 1:47-2:02 where the clouds light up red as the trance riff starts to phase out. Also was wondering, is the area pictured from 2:15-2:20 an overlook at Natural Bridges by any chance? Sure reminds me of the view I once had from N.B. of the most incredible thunderheads building over Monument Valley near sunset. Thanks for bringing back the memories!

@sparta23tranchi51 thanks for the comment, the thunderstorm at 1:47 was over Blanding. The final clip in the video was at Natural Bridges but the one at 2:15 was from the road (12) that traverses the Aquarius plateau. looking east towards the Henry Mountains.

Very nicely done. A poor monsoon season well captured!

Thanks, I did not know it was a poor season, interesting. We had quite a few storms in the first week but not much actual rain over Blanding (where I was staying). The storms would often develop over the mountains in the morning and then die. Then in the evening storms would develop over the plains.
