The scene where Beowulf kills Grendal.. Sorry for the sound I know it is really low. And the reason there is music in the beginning is because theres a funny man speaking in the vid. :D

@xxlotski I think it was more because Grendel was literally immune to blades, making swords useless. It's less apparent in this version than in the poem/other media, but trying to kill Grendel with swords was what everyone had been trying to do and getting eaten for their trouble.
So Beowulf, being a stone-cold badass, decided that "immune to blades" meant that he just had to kill Grendel with his bare hands.

Hes naked because he wants to fight grendel as an equal (?) .. since grendel has no weapon or close what so ever. :) he wants to kill him with his bare hands. :)
