@jakethebank Hey is anything being done with obsidian being gay? Is DC further allowing this? I stopped collecting JSA after the dark things arc. GL Alan Scott is especially awesome in this arc. I loved the final part where he spoke to the elves in their custom.

. Sorry if this offends anyone. But I hate the fact that Alan Scott's son, obsidian, was allowed to be potrayed as gay by stupid writers. JSA used to be my favrit book. I just can't see past my disgust over how Alan Scott was shown to be "ok" with his son's condition. My favourite super hero who is easily read and admired by many impressionable youths is encouraging his son to be gay. I'm furious at DC for allowing this.

I actually find a great amount of pleasure to have met Mr. Mart Nodel, creator of Alan Scott the Original Green Lantern, before he died. He was one of the great comic creators of the Golden Age of Comics.
