It's like that place in Hidden Palace... how cool is it that there are areas designed for Tails, when Tails isn't even in Sonic & Knuckles.

I never noticed that door in the hole...then again, I never fall down that hole anyway=P
Also, the Death Egg music sounds cool sped up.

i ran across that passage years ago nothing special about it usualy in super (hyper) sonic begore i get there then use his shot jump to get out of the hole

Perhaps, if they had more time with the game, it could have been a Knuckles-only portion to the level, and then an appropriate fix made to the mini-boss?
