My daughter is a brown belt, hoping to get her black this year. I think what she likes best about martial arts is that no one expects her to be "tough" & defend herself (she's not quite 4'10" and weighs maybe 87 lbs). Two guys actually laughed and told her "you can't hurt us!" So, after getting their permission & their parents' permissions, she let them come at her. They left bruised & limping! hahahaha I think that was the most satisfying day of her entire life! ;-D

@LaHolly, That is great!!! I bet she was proud.Thank you!!! They had the most fantastic time doing this. Sarah too is quite a surprise for her size. She is now a 2nd Degree black belt. She loves it very much. I think this is just great for the girls. It is something that will be with them the rest of their lives. She has done a few more tournaments since then. I plan on posting them maybe this weekend.

This was awesome! You all should have won! I watched you all at state and national, everyone from Taylor county and all of our jaws dropped when we watched you all. But at least someone from Kentucky won nationals! It would've been nicer if two groups could've though.
