To all you wonderful peeps who have encouraged me on this film idea I want to first say a big thanks. Unfortunately I doubt my version will ever make it to the big screen - but I may turn my script into a book.

The original Flying Tigers have always been treated like rock stars by a grateful Chinese people. Any project regarding their exploits is something worth seeing. Squad leader Dick Rossi (7 confirmed kills) recently died at age 92. R.I.P. Mr Rossi.

This is an idea that ahs been tossed around by several history oriented producers and ironically, the story writes itself. It is a shame no ne has yet done it justice.

I read somewhere John Woo is working on a film epic about these legendary mercenaries. Hope he doesen't fuck it up with inaccurate romantic rubbish like they did with Pearl Harbour or Flyboys, if he has the Japs save the world from another love triangle or have aircraft defy the law's of there flight envelope (I'd Know I used to fly) I'd not be impressed.

i have great respect to Americans( especially their old generations)! when i was young, i often heard the tale of American Airmen help china to defeat imperial japan in WW2,.....it's such grateful to hear someone is gonna make a film to tribute these brave tigers, their spirit will live on!....
