Sorry about the quality, I didn't use a tripod so it's a bit shaky.
A simple conversion this one(unlike Dave) due to the tender drive and a metal chassis. I fitted a resistor to the motor which slowed it down but still allowed full power to the smoke unit - so lots of smoke!
Enjoy :-)

  • whats the difference between a king class and a castle class

  • @matanuialive2010

Best answer to that is for you to search Wiki. It'll give a fuller answer than I can on here...

  • Thats a great idea - which resistor did you use and how did you do it?

  • @waldenhouse

Thanks. It's 0.6 ohm resistor and simply wired into one of the motor leads. It gets warm when running so make sure there's enough air space around it.

  • That's an insane amount of smoke! The most realistic i've ever seen.So whats the setup here? A Seuthe 100 with a 0.6ohm resistor on the positive lead from the motor? Have you had problems with melted chimneys?

  • thats looks so goood

  • It's a Seuthe No 100 unit.

  • WHat smoke unit is this ??? :)
