Days of our Lives Thursday 5th January, 1989 Part 1

January 5, 1989

Roman tries to get around the bet with Diana. Shane and Eve talk again to the insurance investigator about Nick's accident, as he tells her the story she told him doesn't check out. Mike and April continue to grow closer. After the man leaves, Shane asks Eve for the real story, since this could lead to someone going to jail. Roman wants to end the bet by getting married, but Diana wants a big wedding. Mickey talks to Eve about Nick's death, as she dodges telling him the truth. Roman learns he can't get a marriage license, since Marlena was never declared dead. After drinking one to many beers, April crashes Mike's van into his garage wall. Eve fills in Jake about what is going on, as he tells her to stick to their story, or he'll hang her out to dry, as Shane sees them talking and wants answers. Mike finds April and tells her she has been drinking. Shane tells Eve he's going to find out exactly what happened to Nick that night.
