I think Thom should run for President. America needs him, or someone like him.

The "private sector", for the most part. Doesn't want to create jobs. Because most of them see American employees as financial liabilities due to the fact that Americans demand a livable salary, and that their health care be provided by their private employers.. But I guess I'm not surprised that President Obama wants 90% of his job creation program be in the "private sector". By in large, the "Private sector" outsources jobs, not creates them. Privatize profits, socialize their losses.

I laugh when all these willfully retarded redneck teabaggers label President Obama a "liberal". Even though in reality, Obama is a "Corporate Centrist Democrat", at best. As far as his taxing policies goes, if you compare Obama to Eisenhower. Eisenhower was more a of tax and spend liberal than Obama by a wide margine. I believe under Eisenhower, tax rate was at a whopping 90% when trying to balance the budget. And in spite of that fact, Obama is still the BIg GOV'T liberal.
1) By refusing to take action on the financial markets even though there was plenty of signals that it was going tits up, both from European institutions (not the UK, they are just as rotten) and from concerned US legislators (what happened to Spitzer?). He entered into a spurious war on the promise of 'no more taxes' , which meant either printing money, borrowing, or both (both).
2) To go to war you need proof, not lack of it. The inspectors were ordered out by the US.because war was desired.

There is plenty of evidence, both in action and testimony, that war against Iraq was a political prerogative. Seek and ye shall find. But I'm always open-minded; please provide a link to Bush's 'truth', because there is no evidence of Iraqi WMD or a link to 'al-Quaeda, whatever that organisation might be. It's pointless to continue. If you don't see what is happening in your government it is because you don't want to. Either that, or you get your world view from TV. Have a nice day.
