@scytheboy Yes, I apologize. The lineup for the Tim Horton's was much longer. What are you getting at? The video wasn't meant to be a real-time distance gauge between RIM and Apple.. in fact I just through in the drive-by as a tongue-in-cheek laugh at all the press portraying it as a thing between Apple and RIM. Search on YouTube for "Apple Store Waterloo CBC" and watch the news bit. Any rate, no-one implied RIM was down the street, just that it was close. Which it is by 5 minutes.

@adefowler Thanks very much. :-) The drive-by of RIM was just tongue-in-cheek humour. The press in Canada were making such a big deal about Apple's "provocative" move so close to RIM. The real reason for the store is probably because there is close to a million people in the area, it's one of the world's hottest technology areas (RIM, Google, Open Text etc...), with several Universities, and it's a nice mall that just spent 75 million on renovations and uses green energy.
