David checked his review mirror.

David: What is that guy doing?

Selena: Huh? -She and Demi each turned to the window on their side of the car and looked out.-

A little way behind them, a guy was swerving all over the highway.

Demi: It looks like hes -The driver took a drink.- drunk!

Selena: Uh, maybe we should get out his way.

Demi: Too late.

The drivers car started spinning.

Selena: David! Move!

David: Im trying! I told you I needed a new car -He shifted over a couple lanes but the spinning car seemed to follow.-

David stepped on the gas but the spinning car was faster.

The rear end of the drunk drivers car hit Demi and Davids side.

Selena: David! -She screamed.-

Davids car jostled and hit another car on Selenas side and came to a stop.

David: Are you guys okay?

Demi: Yeah, I think so.

Selena: Yeah.

They all had good amounts of cuts and bruises and some blood coming from them.

All the side windows were smashed in, the glass was shattered everywhere.

The windshield in front and back window were both cracked.

Basically, every part of the car had dents in it.

They all heard sirens.

They all tried opening their doors, David leaned across to try and open the passenger door but none of them would move.

They waited till some rescue people came and started taking Davids car apart. Good thing he was getting a new one.

All three of them were lifted from the car and put on stretchers in separate ambulances.

The Paramedics let Selena pull out her phone on the way to the hospital.

She called up Joe first, hed be so worried.

Joe: Hello?

Selena: Joe -She breathed, just in shock from the crash.- Oh, god, Joe.

Joe: Sel? What is it? Whats wrong?

Selena: Just, um, oh my gosh, Joe -She started to cry, the EMTs were watching her carefully.-

Joe: Selena! Calm down, talk to me, please.

Selena: We, w-we got in a c-crash.

Joe: What?!

Selena could hear him start to scramble around.

Selena: Were on our w-way to the, the hospital.

She heard a car door slam and the car start to speed off, the tires squealing.

She heard Nick in the background, he was confused.

Joe: Im on my way.

Selena: N-Nick?

Joe handed the phone to Nick.

Nick: Sel! Were on our way.

Selena: I have to, to go.

Nick: Well be there.

Selena hung up.

The last thing she knew was that the doors of the ambulance opened, letting in a bright light.
