Savage 2 - Let's get Berserkin'! Savages vs Spires

Video showing some spire rushing as Savage in Savage 2. Points out some key things to do on your way in so as to maximize damage.

Notice how this is primarily one player fighting the tower admist a mass of enemy players. Imagine what would've happened if two or more savages were doing this at a time.

Because of the sheer damage done to the spire, the repair cost far outweighs the gold earned from killing the savage, and this is before you factor in the gold income gained from the savage's attacks. This is a great way to cripple the enemy team's gold through spire repairs.

@DevilFish0fHell Common misconception. At the time, the gold mechanics (especially for repairing) were such that the damage you could do and repair costs far outweighed the death penalty. The enemy team's economy tanked. It actually would've been better for the enemy team to lose the spire and save gold.

Eden. It's one of the original maps that was included when the game was released - and it's a port of a Savage 1 map.

@CamiloAbelMaster Haven't played the game, but I hear that at one point in the game, they attempted a mixed RTS/action RPG system. Savage 2 is something like that.

My strat against spires:

Spawn a builder - pick an unprotected spire - hug the spire (as close a posible)- before placing a shield - then just go nuts with melee. It is posible to get the spire down before the shield brakes.

Not a stupid thing to ask. They were planned but they don't exist atm. I'd love to have the resources required to add 'em.

@JRPereira may be a stupid thing to ask but do you get game modes like destroy the tower and team deathmatch
